This week Miller Farms hung the first flower pots on two light poles on Central Avenue. The FLOWER POWER McKinleyville Improvement project is scheduled to be an official go in May of 2017. The plan is for the chamber to hange 60 baskets of flowers from light poles down Central Avenue as well as put solar fairy lights on trees. Miller Farms and the chamber are doing a "test run" with four planters so that they can decide on the best options. Businesses and the community will be invited to help sponsor the project once it is under way. If you have any questions about the project, please contact the chamber at (707)839-2449.
