McKinleyville Welcomes Cloney's Pharmacy and Figuieredo's Video to the McKinleyville Shopping Center

Local business leaders and the community turned out on a beautiful sunny day for a celebration and ribbon cutting.

Figureido's Video Celebrated their re-location to the McKinleyville Shopping Center with a ribbon cutting and specials throughout the day.

Cloney's Pharmacy Celebrated their new location also in the McKinleyville Shopping Center with a ribbon Cutting and BBQ.

Cloney's:  "Over the past 30 years, Humboldt has lost at least 10 independent pharmacies.  Gone with them are the services those pharmacies provided to the community, as well as the revenue that kept dollars local.  They were all replaced by national chain pharmacies, that provide a lesser level of service, and certainly don't support the community the same way locally-owned businesses do.  With the opening of Cloney's McKinleyville Pharmacy, we hope to reverse the trend of independent pharmacy attrition in Humboldt, and provide the McKinleyville and greater Humboldt community with the type of outstanding service patients and residents deserve.  Hopefully, we'll grow into other Humboldt communities in the years to come!"
