Monday, July 8th a groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new Federal Courthouse that will be built next to the McKinleyville Airport Business Park. The courthouse is scheduled to open in eighteen months. The building will house one courtroom and office space for the U.S. Magistrate court, the U.S. Bankruptcy court, the Probation Department, the U.S. Marshal Service and the U.S. Attorney's Office.
