The Humboldt Builders Exchange supports the construction and trades community in Humboldt County. They offer access to an online plan room, host educational workshops and networking events, and provide scholarships for students entering the trades. They focus on building community, advocating for the trades, and investing in their future. We serve as a hub for our 300-plus contractors, suppliers, and related professionals to connect and stay informed about industry opportunities and regulations.

Their weekly bulletin keeps members informed, and events like their annual golf tournament and Women in Construction mixer bring people together to connect, learn, and grow.

The Humboldt Women in Construction (a committee of the Humboldt Builders Exchange) brings together women across construction and allied trades for connection and support. Launched by Lori DeVoist and assisted by Yolynn St John, Kalynne Hannah, and Jada Brotman, HWIC has hosted two mixers with attendees spanning welders, engineers, office managers, electricians, and more.
