The McKinleyville Chamber of Commerce is not advocating for or against incorporation. The Chamber’s role is to support civic education, transparency, and public access to information.
Current Phase
The McKinleyville Municipal Advisory Committee’s Incorporation Exploration Subcommittee is currently working to gather objective information about the potential incorporation of McKinleyville.
The next major step is the selection of a consultant to conduct an Incorporation Feasibility Analysis. This analysis will examine whether incorporation may be financially and operationally feasible. It will not determine whether McKinleyville should incorporate, and no decision to incorporate has been made.
