This week, we are excited to feature:

Humboldt Crabs Baseball

Good Friends. Good Times. Great Baseball.

Founded in 1945, the Humboldt Crabs are the oldest, continuously-operated, collegiate, independent, wood-bat, summer baseball team in the country.

Did you know?

The Crabs receive NO government subsidies but is a completely self-sustaining non-profit organization dependent upon the creative interplay between a cadre of dedicated volunteers, committed sponsors and enthusiastic fans.

The Humboldt Crabs have more than a $1.3 million positive financial impact on the community. Whether it’s money being spent by visiting teams and parents, supplies and services being bought in the area, a first job experience for local high school or a college student, or the payment of fees and taxes to local governments, all the money combined circulates and stays right here in Humboldt County.

STEP UP TO THE PLATE: SPONSOR THE 82nd CRABS SEASON

For 82 consecutive years, the Humboldt Crabs have been a staple of North Coast summers. Today, the Crabs 2026 Sponsorship Campaign is underway, and they want YOUR business to be part of the Crabs legacy!

The annual Crabs Program is more than just a magazine—it’s a keepsake passed down through generations of fans. Sold at the Arcata ballpark, your brand will be seen by over 34,000 baseball fans throughout the summer! All Program Ad sponsors will receive either free season passes or free general admission tickets in return for your generous donation. Get more tickets with the Crabs Early Bird Special.

Deadline is March 15 to send in your sponsorship.
