Trinity Ballet Academy

McKinleyville’s Trinity Ballet Academy was founded in 1999 by Greta Leverett and her late husband, Norman Leverett.

The studio provides classical ballet instruction for ages 4 to Adult, pre-ballet to pre-professional.

Formerly from Los Angeles, Mrs. Leverett trained in the classical Russian tradition and performed with several dance companies, most notably Southern California’s Anaheim Ballet. She is the mother of 3 grown children who also make Humboldt County their home.

She has choreographed and produced many ballets for Humboldt over the years, giving ample performance opportunities for her students. Mrs. Leverett offers a supportive environment for students, whether dancing recreationally or on a professional track.

She believes the art of ballet builds more than physical grace and musicality in a student. It also helps build respect for self and others that carries into their lives well beyond ballet training.

Trinity Ballet Academy has joyfully served McKinleyville for over 26 years

The studio also has a professional-level resident ballet company, “Ballet Emmaus”(em-ay-us). This company of young adults performs throughout Humboldt County and beyond.

Trinity Ballet Academy presents “Nutcracker in Narnia” on Saturday, December 6th, at Cal Poly. It will feature our Youth Ballet Theater as well as our professional-level resident company, Ballet Emmaus (Em-ay-us).
