Arcata Chamber Moves Downtown

Arcata Chamber Moves Downtown

We’re Coming Downtown! Arcata Chamber of Commerce Moves into Jacoby’s Storehouse.

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news: the Arcata Chamber of Commerce is moving downtown! This March, we’ll officially be settling into our new office inside Jacoby’s Storehouse, right in the heart of Arcata.

With help from Kevin Hoover and Camille at the Cal Poly Library’s Special Collections, we discovered that the Arcata Chamber office was previously housed in the Jacoby’s Storehouse from 1974 to 1986. We can’t wait to be back!
This move has been a long time coming, and we couldn’t be more excited. Being downtown brings us closer to so many of our incredible member businesses and right in the middle of the energy, creativity, and connection that make Arcata special. It allows us to better serve our members, strengthen relationships, and be more accessible to the community we love.

Our new location also deepens our role in supporting tourism in the City of Arcata. As a welcoming hub for visitors and locals alike, we’re excited to help connect people to the businesses, events, and experiences that define our downtown and greater community.

We see this move as more than just a change of address; it’s a renewed commitment to showing up, being present, and championing the people and places that make Arcata great. We can’t wait to open our doors this spring and welcome members, partners, and visitors into our new space.

More details and opportunities to celebrate with us will be shared soon. We look forward to seeing you downtown!
