Eva Agus
— Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Eva Agus is a multidisciplinary artist and environmental engineer whose work bridges cultural heritage and sustainability. After more than 20 years working in water and energy infrastructure, she now creates batik-inspired wood panel paintings that explore urban greenscapes and wildlife encounters through an Indonesian visual lens shaped by her California experience.

About the Redwood Artist-in-Residence Program
The Artist-in-Residence program offers artists the opportunity to immerse themselves in the landscapes of Redwood National and State Parks. Residencies last up to four weeks and welcome a wide range of disciplines, including writing, photography, painting, music, film, and other visual and performing arts.

Participants receive housing and a stipend to support their work, while engaging with park staff and visitors. The program highlights the connection between art, conservation, and the shared goal of preserving these public lands for future generations.
